Dr. Ramzi Khouri, Member of the PLO Executive Committee and Head of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, has sent a letter to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, welcoming the news of his successful surgery and extending his heartfelt wishes for a full and speedy recovery and continued health and well-being.
In his letter, Khouri expressed his support for His Holiness and offered his prayers for his swift recovery. He also conveyed his deep appreciation for the Pope’s spiritual and humanitarian mission and his continued calls for peace, love, and the preservation of human dignity. He further reaffirmed the deep-rooted historical and spiritual ties between Palestine and the Holy See.
Khouri concluded by praying for His Holiness’s full recovery and continued health and strength, so that he may carry on his pastoral and humanitarian mission in service of the Church and the faithful, while advancing the values of peace and love among peoples.
