The ongoing illegal Israeli actions and intensive brutality against The Occupied Palestinian Territory including East Jerusalem especially around Al Aqsa Mosque, will only further destabilize the situation and reaching negative consequences for both people in the region.
Since the 5th of Nov, many violations of international law including human rights law have occurred for example: killing Imad Jawabreh (22 years old), the closing of Al Aqsa Mosque, and the detaining of Palestinians including children all over the West Bank and Gaza.
Therefore, Dr. Riyad Mansour sent this letter (attached) to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council and the President of the General Assembly, appeals the international community to address this critical situation. 40 years ago, the late Chairman Of the Palestine Liberation Organization, H.E Yasser Arafat had his famous speech “ olive branch and gun”, we need all the necessary measures not to let the olive branch fall from our hands.
