His Excellency Mahmoud Abbas, The President of the State of Palestine, received at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, a delegation of church leaders of Ramallah, in the presence of Mr. Musa Hadid, the Mayor of Ramallah and a number of Municipal Council members.
His Excellency welcomed the delegation and stressed the importance of moving forward in achieving freedom and independence, hoping to pray together in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, Palestine’s eternal capital.
The church leaders expressed their great appreciation for the president’s efforts towards freedom and independence, praising his support of churches and for strengthening the Christian presence in the Holy Land by providing security and safety for all the citizens.
