The Higher Presidential Committee of Churches Affairs in Palestine has called for unification in supporting the leadership of President Mahmoud Abbas in the midst of dangerous conspiracies being planned against the Palestinian cause.
In a statement by Dr. Ramzi Khoury, the President of the committee and Director General of the Palestinian National Fund, “The Palestinian revolution, which was sparked and led by the Palestinian National Liberation Movement “Fatah”, restored the independent Palestinian national identity of the Palestinian people and preserved its legitimate rights to self-determination, return, and the establishment of an independent state with its capital, the city of Jerusalem”.
The Committee stressed that the ongoing attacks launched by Israel on the Palestinian people and its Islamic and Christian sanctities with the continuous protection and support of the United States ,are faced with persistence by the Palestinian people and its leadership with insistence on thwarting all conspiracies and projects that try to undermine Palestinian rights.
The committee concluded its statement by affirming the loyalty to the martyr leaders, in the forefront, the martyr leader Yasser Arafat with his brothers, who preserved the principles and goals of the Palestinian revolution and gave their lives for the sake of the homeland.
