The Orthodox Diocese in Jordan conducted the first Liturgy at the new Orthodox Church of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Dibeen, near Jerash, amidst a diverse attendance of both public and official figures. The Most Reverend Archbishop Christophoros of Kyriakoupolis led the Liturgy, with the presence of Dr. Ramzi Khouri, a member of the PLO Executive Committee and the head of the Higher Presidential Committee for Churchs Affairs in Palestine, alongside various priests, deacons, and congregation members.

At the conclusion of the service, Archbishop Christophoros expressed his joy and gratitude for the newly established Orthodox Church, emphasizing its role in serving all members of the congregation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He described the Three Holy Hierarchs as a significant and comprehensive structure, housing the Orthodox Cultural Center and being the first church in Jordan named after its saints: saint Basil the Great, Saint Gregory, and Saint John Chrysostom ‘the Golden Mouth’.

Archbishop Christophoros extended sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Issa Nassif Odeh for his generous donation to construct the church at his own expense. On behalf of the clergy and congregation, the Archbishop presented Mr. Odeh with a personal portrait featuring him wearing the Jordanian Keffiyeh, a Holy Cross around his neck, holding the new Orthodox Church, and adorned with the Order of the Holy Sepulcher.
