Khouri: “Persistent Israeli settler attack on the Tent of Nations, southwest of Bethlehem, are part of systematic Israeli policy aimed at stealing the land”

 

Member of the PLO Executive Committee and Head of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, Dr. Ramzi Khouri, condemned the persistent Israeli settler attacks on the “Tent of Nations”, owned by the Nassar family in Nahlin, southwest of Bethlehem, underscoring that these attacks are not isolated incidents, but rather a systematic Israeli policy aimed at stealing the land.

This statement was made during a meeting with Bishop Munib Younan, alongside the Nassar family, in the presence of the Palestinian area commander, Nadir Omar, Head of the Bethlehem Police Department, Muhammad Abu el-Rob, member of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, Jihad Khair and director of public relations and media, Raed Hanania.

Khouri reiterated that safeguarding Palestinian land is a collective national responsibility, emphasizing the resilience of the Nassar family, despite the challenges, and their unwavering commitment to asserting their rightful ownership of the land.
