Dr. Ramzi Khouri, member of the PLO Executive Committee and Head of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, met in Ramallah with the Parish Priest of the Holy Redeemer Church in Jenin, Father Amer Jubran, accompanied by Osama Al-Sayegh, Head of the Salt of the Earth Youth Association, to exchange greetings on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation to safeguard the Christian presence in Palestine, enhance community engagement, and activate the role of Christian youth in national and social initiatives.
Dr. Khouri praised the efforts of the Governor of Jenin and the security and police services in protecting citizens and maintaining security and stability, emphasizing that this essential support reinforces the steadfastness of Palestinian society in all its components and preserves their active role within the national fabric.
For his part, Father Jubran commended the efforts of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs and presented Dr. Khouri with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his national and ecclesiastical role.
The meeting was attended by committee member Mousa Hadid, Acting Director General of the Committee Hadeel Mashreqi, and Director of Public Relations and Media Raed Hanania.
