Khouri Receives the Parish Council of the Holy Trinity Church in Tubas

Dr. Ramzi Khouri, member of the PLO Executive Committee and Head of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, received a delegation from the parish council of the Holy Trinity Church in Tubas, headed by Wissam Al-Sayegh.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed its deep appreciation for the Higher Presidential Committee’s continued support of the restoration of the Holy Trinity Church, underscoring the importance of this support in ensuring the continuity of religious and social activities and strengthening the church’s role in serving the local community. The delegation presented Dr.
Khouri with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his efforts in supporting churches and Christian institutions and in reinforcing the steadfastness of Palestinian society within the national fabric.

Dr. Khouri, in turn, praised the dedication and active role of the parish council in Tubas, stressing that preserving the Christian presence is a shared national responsibility. He also commended the supportive national environment represented by the governorate, security and police services, and the municipality, which reflects a genuine spirit of national partnership in safeguarding religious and cultural diversity in Palestine.

The meeting was attended by committee member Mousa Hadid, Acting Director General Hadeel Mashreqi, and Director of Public Relations and Media Raed Hanania.
