Member of the PLO Executive Committee and Head of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, Dr. Ramzi Khouri, extended his congratulations to Beit Sahour Mayor Laith Qumsiyeh and the newly elected members of the Municipal Council on assuming their responsibilities, wishing them success in their mission to serve the city and its residents.
Dr. Khouri made these remarks during a visit to Beit Sahour Municipality, where he met with the Mayor and members of the newly formed Municipal Council. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and collective efforts to promote local development, improve services provided to citizens, and preserve Beit Sahour’s distinguished historical and national significance.
Mayor Laith Qumsiyeh welcomed Dr. Khouri and the accompanying delegation, expressing his appreciation for the visit and the support it represents. He affirmed the new Municipal Council’s commitment to continuing its efforts to develop the city, enhance services, and work for the benefit of its residents.
Dr. Khouri was accompanied during the visit by members of the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine, Dr. Kholoud Daibes and Jihad Khair, as well as the Committee’s Director of Public Relations and Media, Raed Hanania.
